For the actor committed to success in the world of television auditioning. With the majority of all auditions for episodic television and pilots requiring that the actor be put on camera for the casting director and/or producers to review, today’s working actor must possess a solid camera technique that is specific to the audition format. In this course strong cold-read and on-camera skills are developed as well as an empowered perspective of the casting process and a clear understanding of what it truly means to “own” the room. Previous training and professional experience in the industry and/or theatre is preferred. Interview is required. Class size is limited to 12 actors. Each actor works every class, individually, on-camera.
First 4 weeks – “Cold-Read & Owning the Room” |

| -Managing Nerves (experience freedom in the read) -Audition Technique (what to do and what NOT to do in the room) -1/2 Hr Comedy (single & multiple camera) and 1-hr Drama Formats
Final 4 weeks – “The Pilot & Preparing to Test for the Network” Monday & Wednesday classes offered / 7pm / Cost: $495 / Deposit required | |||
