8-Week Intensive On-Camera 
Audition Workshop

For the actor committed to success in television auditioning. 
With the majority of all auditions for episodic television and pilots requiring that the actor be put on camera for the casting director and/or producers to review, today’s working actor must possess a solid camera technique that is specific to the audition format. In this course strong cold-read and on-camera skills are developed as well as an empowered perspective of the casting process and a clear understanding of what it truly means to “own” the room. Interview is Required. Previous training and professional experience in the industry and/or theatre is preferred. Class size is limited 
to 10 actors. Each actor works every class, individually, on-camera. 

First 4 weeks: "Cold-Read & Owning the Room"
-Cold-Read Technique (15-min sides prep)
-Camera Technique (make it work for you)
-On-Camera Review & Video Playback
-Managing Nerves (experience freedom in the read)
-Audition Technique (what to do and what NOT to do in the room)
-1 hour drama & 1/2-hr comedy (single and multiple camera formats)

Final 4 weeks: "The Pilot & Preparing to Test at the Network"
-Script Analysis & Intensive Character Study
-Focus on the Series Regular
-On-Camera Review & Video Playback
-Getting the Job: The Pilot - Overview & Prep
-Mock Sessions & Role Play Reversal (you become the producer)
-Final night "Mock Network" test session
