Advanced & In-Depth Ongoing Study
This class takes on-camera cold-read study to the next level! Each month actors work on two specific scenes from recent television & film scripts, one week as a cold-read and the following week as prepared material or callback. The cold-read portion focuses on the interior/exterior elements of on-camera cold-read technique in making strong choices with only 15-20 minutes prep time. The following week the emphasis is on developing flexibility and ease in taking direction (thinking outside the box) and further character exploration. Exercises are employed periodically including relaxation, object work, sense memory, visualization and imagery.
Completion of the 8-Week Intensive Workshop
or The Weekend Intensive is required.
Class size is limited to 12 actors. Every actor works every class.
Tuesday and Thursday classes offered, 7pm
